As Vice President, she is responsible for the development of value propositions and experiences with the highest level of security that responds to the needs of consumers, monitoring throughout the evolution of traditional products to the digital world and execution of strategies to guarantee the approach of payment solutions to all segments of the country.
Irina is a globally experienced banker, with 20+ years leading high-performance and multidisciplinary teams oriented to achieve goals through designing, implementing, and following up innovative and highly disruptive services, products, and digital solutions. She has a very strong mix of skills, knowledge and experience in the Tech World, combining digital projects, initiatives with fintechs, and strategies with financial institutions who are looking to strengthen their digital presence in the market.
At an international level, she participated in the Future Manager program at Banco Río de la Plata (Argentina) from March 2001 to August 2002.
Irina Valassi has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad La Salle México and a master's degree in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey. She also has an MBA in Business Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile) and one from ESADE Bussines & Law School (Spain).
A part of my convictions includes helping others; there is no sense in learning and preparing yourself without sharing what you have with people that may need it. I found in RE!NSTITUTE an opportunity to learn and share and also to see in a short period of time deep changes in basic areas for human beings.
I’m a Board member and hope to focus on scaling Mexico’s chapter.
I love to be a part of a wonderful team, that help by heart, that are passionate about making this world better for those who needed the most. I have the opportunity to be a part of this change and lead by example to my son and the people around me, that you can make a change if you decide to.
