Illinois 100-Day Challenge: Strengthening Collaboration to End Veteran Homelessness

The Illinois Veterans 100-Day Challenge successfully strengthened collaboration and reduced veteran homelessness across DuPage, Springfield/Sangamon, and Whiteside Counties. By addressing fragmented data, limited housing, and coordination gaps, the teams housed 45 veterans and veteran families, and developed sustainable systems like veteran-specific funds and task forces. The case study highlights the power of bold goals and real-time innovation in creating more equitable and safe systems for veterans.
